HP Board 10th Results 2020, HPBOSE

January 22, 2020: The HPBOSE usually conducts the State Open School (SOS) Matric Examination in the month of March. The SOS Matric exams will begin on the 6th of March, 2020 and continue up to the 20th of March, 2020. The date sheet for the final examination will be released online on the official website of the board and will be available in a PDF format. HP Board Class 12th Results 2020, HPBOSE

The HPBOSE usually conducts the State Open School (SOS) Plus Two Examination in the month of March. The SOS plus Two exams begin on the 5th of March, 2020 and continue up to the 28th of March, 2020. The date sheet for the final examination will be released online on the official website of the board and will be available in a PDF format. The students are advised to bring their admit cards for entry into the exam hall. In the event that a student is not carrying their admit card, he/she will be denied entry into the exam hall. It is important that the candidates reach the exam hall at least 30 – 45 minutes before the exact reporting time. The exams will be conducted in a single session from 08:45 am to 12pm for all regular/additional subjects while the exams for State Open School candidates will be conducted from 01:45 pm to 05:00 pm. In 2017 the server of the official website crashed due to a huge volume of students trying to know their results. However, after a while the issue was fixed and the website started functioning again. In 2017, the HP Class 10 results were announced on 09 May, 2017 while the HP Class 12 results were announced on 28 April, 2017. In 2016, the HP Class 10 results were announced on 13 May, 2016 while the HP Class 12 results were announced on 26 April, 2016.In 2018, the 10th result was declared on 3rd May 2018 and the 12th result was declared on 24th April 2018. In 2019, the HPBOSE Class 10th result was announced on 28 April 2019, while Class 12th result was announced on 21 April 2019. The HPBOSE 2020 results are expected to be declared during the same time period this year.

About Himachal Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (HPBOSE)

The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education is an agency of the Government of Himachal Pradesh. It was founded in the year 1969 as per Himachal Pradesh Act No. 14 of 1968 with its headquarters at Shimla which was later shifted to Dharamshala in January 1983. Its primary function is to prepare academic programmes, prescribe courses of instruction by preparing syllabi for the students and conducting examinations for secondary school students in Himachal Pradesh. HP Board conducts examination for the following classes and courses: 10th, 10+2, J.B.T and T.T.C. As many as 5 Lakh candidates annually appear in the examination conducted by the Board. The board has its jurisdiction from elementary level to senior secondary level and also provides textbooks for all classes from Class 1 to Class 12. In addition to these, the board has set up 26 book distribution/information centres across the state to better equip students by catering to their needs.
