Tamil Nadu Class 10th Results 2017 - TN SSLC Result 2017 - Date, Information & More..

: The Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) examination results for the class 10 students of Tamil Nadu will be announced on 19 May, 2017. The exam is conducted by the Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE) Tamil Nadu. Last year the TN SSLC 10th result was announced on 25 May, 2016. About 6,47,856 students appeared for the SSLC examination last year. The overall pass percentage was 92.9%. The pass percentage for boys who appeared for the Tamil Nadu SSLC exam last year was 88.79% while for girls it was 89.25%. The DGE has already announced the SSLC exam Time Table 2017 - the Tamil Nadu SSLC exams have commenced from 8 March and ended on 30 March, 2017. About TN Board

The Directorate of Government Examinations was formed as a separate Directorate in 1975 in the month of February. The first secondary school leaving certificate examination was conducted in 1911. In 1980, it started the HSC examination. Every year, nearly 7 lakhs students appear for both TN Board SSLC exams and TN Board HSC exams.
