The Diamond Harbour Women’s University is a young university for women that started offering post graduate courses from 2014 onwards. Established in 2013 under the West Bengal Act XXXVII of 2012, this women's university is currently operating from the Fakir Chand College campus and will soon get its own campus at Sarisha crossing in Diamond Harbour. The courses on offer include Business Studies, Education, English, History and Women's Studies.
