West Bengal 12th class board exams revised dates announced


May 20, 2020: West Bengal class 12 board exams were postponed due to the epidemic Coronavirus. On Tuesday, West Bengal Education Minister Partha Chatterjee declared that the pending West Bengal class 12 exams will be conducted on June 29, July 2, and July 6. The minister also assured that the state will ensure safety of all candidates by adhering to the COVID-19 guidelines.


West Bengal 12th class exams will be held across 2500 centres where over 2 lakh students are expected to appear for the examination. West Bengal is one of the first boards to usually announce the board exam results however this year, the West Bengal results will be delayed. The reschedule WB 12 class exams were initially scheduled to be conducted on March 23, March 25, and March 27.

Following mentioned are the examinations that were postponed and will now be held on June 29, July 2 and July 6 – Physics, Nutrition, Education, Accountancy, Chemistry, Economics, Journalism, Sanskrit, Persian, Arabic, French, Statistics, Geography, Costing and Taxation, Home Management, and Family Resource Management.


Results and exams for several other states across India has been postponed, rescheduled or even cancelled. West Bengal 10th class examination has concluded, the evaluation process is underway and results can be expected sometime soon.
