UP Board Practical Dates 2020, Starts From December 15


November 22, 2019: The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has announced the practical examination dates for class 10th and 12th. The announcement closely follows the theory exam timetable release. The official notice for the practical exam timetable released on November 19, 2019. Class 10th and 12th are due to start their practical exams starting from December 15, 2019. The intermediate (class 12th) practical exams will be conducted over two phases. The first phase of the practical exams will take place from December 15 to December 29, 2019. Phase two of the class 12th practical exams will take place over December 29 to January 13, 2020.

The class 10th practical exams will be conducted by respective schools. This is in accordance with the Uttar Pradesh State Board’s guidelines. Students are required to contact the school for their practical exam timetables. Nearly 56 lakh students are registered for appearing class 10th and class 12th UP board exams.

Date-wise list of Class 12th Practical Exam Zones

The class 12th practical exams will be conducted in different zones across the state. The zones that have exams scheduled from December 15 to December 29, 2019 are-

• Agra
• Sahranapur
• Bareilly
• Lucknow
• Jhansi
• Chitrakoot
• Faizabad
• Mirzapur
• Devipatan
• Basti

Class 12th practical exams zones scheduled from December 29 to January 13 are-

• Aligarh
• Meerut
• Muradabad
• Kanpur
• Pragyaraj
• Varanasi
• Azamgarh
• Gorakhpur

Weightage and importance of UPMSP Class 10th and Class 12th practical exams The UPMSP class 10th and class 12th practical exams carry a lot of weightage. The practical exams essentially test the practical knowledge gained by students from theory lessons. These exams include the project and carry 50% weightage. Theory exams carry remaining weightage. Thus, the practical exams are considered highly important for class 10th and class 12th students. Further, the practical exams are mandatory to clear the final examinations.

The site also publishes an official notice of the practical exams for class 10th and 12th. The pre-board exams for UP board class 10th and class 12th will take place in the first week of December 2019. The pre-board exam timetables will be notified soon.
