MP board announces new list of Class 10th and 12th exams to be conducted

April 07, 2020: The Madhya Pradesh education board has announced that only 19 primary subjects are being studied by the Madhya Pradesh Secondary Education (MPBSE) Commission. The MP Board released an comprehensive notification confirming this progress, naming that the board will now conduct examinations for only 19 main subjects, which are necessary to pursue admission to higher education institutions, both high-school and higher secondary school students.

The Board also explained that the subject-matters for which exams are not carried out are given marks to students on the basis of an alternate scoring system that the Board shall notify them later. MPBSE’s declaration comes as a significant relief during the pandemic of COVID-19 for students and their parents who were concerned about postponing the exams.

At the moment, the MP Board has no clear dates for the restoration of the High School and Secondary School MP Board Exam 2020. The MP Exam 2020 Board was scheduled to take place from 19 March to 11 April 2020, as specified in its earlier datesheet. Nonetheless, the Board will have a revised datesheet only after lockdown has been lifted on 14 April 2020, according to sources close to the Board provided by details. The board will possibly alert students ten days before the Board exams are resumed, as per reports.
