3 lakh+ Candidates to Appear for MH HSC Board Exam from Today


February 18, 2020: The annual state board exams for class 12th –popularly the Maharashtra Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) exams 2020 begin today. Across nine divisions in Maharashtra, roughly 15.05 lakh students appear for the class 12th HSC exam 2020. Among these, there are 6.61 lakh girls candidates, while 8.43 lakh are boys. The Maharashtra board HSC exam starts on February 18 and end on March 18, 2020. Students would be excited and at the same time nervous on the exam day. It is important to reach the exam center ahead of time in this emotional turmoil to tackle any unwelcome surprises or problems. Going to the exam center in advance will ensure you have enough time to locate the exam hall and go through the security check exercise without being too late for the test.

The board has deployed six flying squads and several sitting squads to ensure no malpractices. No written content, books, mobile phones, Bluetooth devices, earphones, etc. are allowed inside the exams hall. Please note that digital watches are not permitted while analog watches are allowed. Students are advised not to wear the same as they might be required to remove and leave the same outside the exam hall.

Maharashtra HSC Exam 2020 is scheduled to take place from 18 February and will continue until 18 March 2020. The test is scheduled to take place during this month in two sessions, i.e. morning session from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., and afternoon session from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. During both sessions, the Maharashtra Board will hold exams for various subjects to satisfy the variety of subjects for which approximately 14,21.936 lakh students will appear for the exam.
