CBSE Class 10 & 12 Pass Marks Subject Wise - Theory, Practical, Maximum Marks, Minimum Marks


December 10, 2019: The CBSE board has recently released the criteria of maximum and minimum marks for passing the Class 10th and Class 12th (Theory and Practical) board exams. According to the update provided by the Central Board of Secondary Education – each subject of the board examination will be divided into Theory and Practical, Project, and Internal Assessment Marks.


The list of updates includes the CBSE scoring pattern that specifies the breakup for Class 10th and Class 12th board examination. Along with that the board has also released some notable guidelines that will be incorporated in the upcoming CBSE 2020 board examination. The guidelines mainly include the total passing percentage that a candidate needs to secure to be declared under the passed the board examination category. You can check out the below points to understand the overall motive of the CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 examination –


• The total passing percentage for theory, practical, project and internal assessment examination for CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 board examination is 33%

• The practical, project and the internal assessment will be conducted by the school however will be supervised by an external examiner who will be appointed by the board itself

• The CBSE Practical Examinations for both Class 10th and Class 12th is tentatively scheduled to happen between 1st January 2020 to 7th January 2020

• For the Class 12th NCC subject practical examination, the examiner will be appointed by the Directorate of NCC

UP board Class 10th and 12th are starts their practical exams from December 15, 2019. The intermediate (class 12th) practical exams will be conducted over two phases.
