UTET exams 2017: Results declared at ubse.uk.gov.in

23 February, 2018: The Uttarakhand Board of School Education (UBSE) has announced the results of the Uttarakhand Teacher Eligibility Test (UTET) 2017. Candidates who wish to appear for the examination can download their score from the official website of the Board (ubse.uk.gov.in).

The exam was conducted on December 15, 2017 in two phases — the first phase held from 10 am to 12.30 pm and the second session conducted from 2 pm to 4.30 pm. The paper will be held at 172 centres in 29 cities across the country.

The Uttarakhand Teacher Eligibility Test (UTET) 2018 will conducted twice in a year. UTET Examination 2018 will be organised by the UBSE in order to provide jobs for the posts of Primary teachers in the Central govt. schools of the Uttarakhand State. The Uttarakhand State Education Board conducts UTET exam for the aspirants wishing to get the job of a teacher in the schools of Uttarakhand state affiliated with the UBSE. UTET 1 is organised for the aspirants, wishing to become teachers whose pupils are from Classes I-V, whereas, UTET 2 is conducted for those whose pupils are from Classes VI-VIII.

The eligibility criterion for the UTET necessitates that the applicants have a 10+2 or an equivalent course from any recognised college in which they must have secured a minimum of 45% marks.

Furthermore, the criterion also mentions that the applicants must have an undergraduate (10+2+3) degree from a college from any recognised university in which they must have secured a minimum of 50% marks so as to apply for the UTET Exam 2018.
