UPSC Preliminary Exam Results 2017

July 28, 2017: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) declared the Civil Services Preliminary Examination 2017 results on the official website on Thursday, 27 July. The prelims were conducted on June 18 this year.

Candidates can check their result on the official website of UPSC.

Candidates who have cleared the UPSC Civil Services Prelims are now qualified to appear for the Civil Services Main examination. The detailed application form (DAF) for the main examination will be provided on the official website and candidates have to apply for the same through that.

The Detailed Application Form (CSM) will be available online from 17-31 August, 2017 until 6 pm.

The UPSC Civil Services Main exam will be held on 28 October, 2017 (Saturday).

There are 980 vacancies that will be filled post the main examination.

The UPSC conducts the Civil Services Examination in 2 stages, i.e. Preliminary stage (objective type questions) and Main Examination (Written exam and Interview).
