UP Board exams 2018: Exams may be postponed
5 December, 2017: Due to the upcoming civic poll in UP, the UP Board high school and intermediate examinations may be further delayed. At present, the exams are scheduled to begin from February 6, however, the dates maybe postponed now. The final list of examination centres was scheduled to be prepared by November 30, but due to the polls the Board has not received the list from several districts.
According to UP Board secretary Neena Srivastava, efforts were being made to complete the process of finalizing examination centres at the earliest. Around 67 lakhs students are registered for taking the examinations, including 37 lakhs registered for High School examination and 30 lakhs for Intermediate examinations. UP board has also made it compulsory for students to carry their Aadhaar cards to the test centre.
