Tripura Board Madhyamik Class 10 Exams 2018: Exams begin tomorrow
05 March, 2018: The Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) Madhyamik Class 10 examination starts tomorrow on 06 March, 2018. The date sheet has been made available on the board’s official website - http://tbse.in/. The entire schedule of the examination was published a month ago for students at the board’s official website. The exams will begin from March 6 and will end on April 6.
The Board has also released the time table for TBSE Higher Secondary (+2 Stage) exam time table for arts, science and commerce stream. The results for the academic year 2016-17 were declared on June 6, 2017 for Class 10 and on June 9, 2017 for Class 12.
The Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) has rescheduled Class XII examinations to avoid a clash with the ensuing assembly elections. The examinations have been postponed in order to avoid clashing with the assembly elections in the state. According to the Election Commission, Tripura goes to poll on February 18 and the results for all the 60 constituencies will be announced on March 3.Officials suggested that the entire selection process may extend well past its expected date, which is why the decision to postpone the Class XII board examinations was taken.
TBSE president Mihir Kanti Deb said that the Class XII examinations, which were scheduled to begin on March 5, would now commence on March 8 in view of the upcoming elections.
The schedule for Class X exams remains unchanged. TBSE president Mihir Kanti Deb added that the Class X exams will begin on March 6, as scheduled earlier. This year, around 27,000 candidates will be appearing for Class XII examinations and nearly 55,000 students will sit for Class X examinations, Mr. Deb added.
