PM Modi launched Pariksha Par Charcha with CBSE students
13 February, 2018: In a first ever move from the government, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced a live chat and interactive session for students of classes VI onwards preparing to appear for their annual exams. Students of classes X and XII, preparing to appear for their board exams starting March 5, 2018 have been specially asked to be a part of this initiative.
CBSE has released a circular asking schools to participate in a live interactive session and also to prepare for the same. The idea of the session is for PM Modi to address students and share tips and methods for them to deal with exam stress.
The program will be broadcast on DD through DD National, DD news, and DD India. It will also be aired on All India Radio Medium Wave and All India FM Channel, and streamed live on the official websites and channels of MHRD, PMO, Doordarshan, and Facebook live among others. This streaming is scheduled for Feb 16, 2018 from 10:30 am to 12:00 noon.
Earlier, from Feb 6 to Feb 11, students could submit their questions on the MyGov platform. Selected queries will be answered by the Prime Minister during the Pariksha Par Charcha interaction.
