NBSE Board Exams 2018
9 March, 2018: The Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) HSSLC Board Examinations and the Class XI Promotion Examination 2018 are underway having begun on March 8. The HSLC Examination 2018 begins today on March 9, 2018.
For the HSSLC Examination a total of 15281 candidates have registered for the exams and the exams will be conducted at 54 provisional examination centres. A total of 11339 students from the Arts stream, 1360 students from the Commerce stream and 2582 students from the Science stream make up the gross total. Out of this, 7827 students are girls and 7404 students are boys, NBSE chairperson Asano Sekhose said.
Arts stream candidates from 146 institutions, Commerce stream candidates from 35 institutions and Science stream candidates from 38 institutions all over the state enrolled for the NBSE HSSLC board exams 2018.
A total of 17704 students will appear for the Class XI Promotion Examination in 2018.
In the HSLC Examinations that begin on 09 March, 2018, 10437 boys and 11275 girls will be appearing for the examination at 78 provisional examination centres and 2 sub-centres.
18872 regular candidates from 639 schools are going to appear for the HSLC examinations out of which 2835 candidates are repeaters. Dimapur district has the highest number of candidates taking the exam at 7094 candidates followed by Kohima district with 3619 candidates.
