Last Day of Exams: Maharashtra SSC Exams 2018
The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBHSE) SSC (class 10th) exams end today on the 24th of March 2018. The last examinations being conducted are Second and Third Language, and Prevocational Subjects. The exams were being conducted in two sessions, from 11 am to 2 pm in the morning, and from 3 pm to 6 pm in the afternoon.
As per the Maharashtra Board, a total of 17.52 lakh students registered to appear for the SSC exams which were conducted at 4657 centres across the state. For the first time ever, the board will be conducting examinations for vocational subjects. Nineteen thousand students registered for the vocational board exams in 2018.
The examinations were held across nine divisions , with each division being given 7 flying squads at least to ensure that the exams were conducted smoothly. A total of 252 flying squads were made active. Each district had a monitoring committee, under the district officer, and special squads like all women squads were also formed, to ensure that no malpractices were reported at any centre.
