JK Board Class 12 Part II Exams 2018: Kashmir region results declared
The Jammu and Kashmir State Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has released the HSE-II Bi-annual Class 12 Part II results for Kashmir region. The board released the results on 09 May, 2018 at 04:00 pm. The results were released late on 09 May, 2018 on the official website of the JKBOSE. The students can check their results on the board’s official website - http://jkbose.jk.gov.in/. The results were uploaded by the board on its official website, but according to reports the official website of the board hasn’t been functioning lately due to high network traffic.
The JKBOSE Class 12th Examination started on 26th February 2018 and ended on 17th March 2018. The exam was held in January and as per reports, the results are out on record 40 days time. JKBOSE declared the results of Class 12 part two examinations of Jammu region on Wednesday, April 25, 2018. This year girls outperformed boys collectively by with 59 % girls passing the exams whereas 55% boys passed the exams out of all those who took it. A total of 37,858 candidates had appeared in JKBOSE Class 12 examination out of which 20,646 passed them. Out of this, 5,247 students have secured distinction (75 per cent or above marks) while 8,944 candidates secured first division (60 per cent or above marks). A total of 26 students from the Science stream, constituting 15 boys and 11 girls shared the top 10 positions. Japleen Kour of Government Higher Secondary School secured the first position in science stream with 98.2 per cent marks. Aryan Gupta and Anshika Aggarwal secured the second and third positions with 97.6 per cent and 97.4 per cent marks, respectively.
Out of the 37858 candidates, a total of 87 candidates remained absent in the Class 12 examination while there were 2,469 candidates whose eligibility was disputed. A total of three candidates were disqualified from the examination while the examination of 28 candidates was cancelled.
