GUJCET Exams 2018: GUJCET 2018 results to be released tomorrow
GHSHEB will declare the GUJCET 2018 results on 10 May, 2018 at 09:00 am. Students can check their results on gseb.org. The exam which took place on 23 April, 2018 is compulsory for admissions in engineering, pharmacy and diploma courses. After the examination concluded on Monday, April 23, GHSEB chairman A J Shah announced that the answer keys would be uploaded in a day or two.
Over 1.35 lakh candidates took the Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET) exam 2018 at 34 centres across the state of Gujarat. Nearly 350 candidates appeared for all the four exams of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics, for admissions to engineering and medical courses. In the first session comprising of Physics and Chemistry, which was conducted from 10 am to 12 noon, 1,34,979 students appeared for the exam out of a total of 1,36,498 applications. Around 73,171 students contested in the second session of the test, on Biology, out of 74,048 candidates. In the last session which was Mathematics, out of the 62,761 registered candidates, only 61,981 took the exam. Out of the total registered 1.36 lakh candidates, 134,979 took the GUJCET 2018 exam.
The state government made GujCET compulsory for admissions in engineering, pharmacy and diploma courses from last year. Last year, out of 1.34 lakh registered candidates, 1.32 lakh appeared for Physics and Chemistry examination which was a combined paper while for students wanting admissions into pharmacy colleges, 67,963 students appeared in Biology out of the total 68,983 who registered. For the Mathematics exam 66,890 students appeared out of the 67,814 who registered.
