1 Day to Go: Assam SEBA Class 10th Exams 2018

15 February, 2018: The SEBA Class X exams for 2018 held in Assam are scheduled to begin tomorrow on 16th of February 2018 with English being the first paper. The exams will continue till the 8th of March 2018. The entire time table can be viewed in detail here. The practical exams were conducted between January 22nd and January 24th this year.

The Board of Secondary Education, Assam or SEBA has 852 exam centres and 34 zones under its jurisdiction. Exams are to be conducted at these centres. Almost 3.47 lakh students are expected to appear for the Assam SEBA class 10th board exams this year.

Starting this academic year of 2017-18, students appearing for the SEBA class 10th boards have to mandatorily use black ink. The answer sheets being used for the examination are also to have dandy watermarking, which is a security feature that curbs the practice of copying or scanning the paper for counterfeiting. To ensure that the examinations are conducted without any hassles, SEBA has deputed 120 zonal supervising officers, 1100 supervising officers, 35 scrutinisers, 10,000 examiners, and also set up 27 evaluation zones.
