The Potti Sreeramulu Telugu University (PSTU) was established in 1985 as the Telugu University and is one of the few Universities in India dedicated to a language. The University aims to serve the purpose of development of the Telugu language and people. The University also has a Centre for Distance Education which ensures students from outside the city or state can get access to the University education.
