The Bharat Ratna Dr. B.R Ambedkar University, Delhi (AUD) came into existence in 2007 by an Act of the Delhi Legislation. The University started functioning from July, 2008. The University primarily focuses on teaching and research activities in the field of Social Sciences and Humanities keeping Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’s principles and works in view. The university strives for promoting equity and social justice with equality enabling people to get successes, coming from any strata irrespective of religion, caste and attributes.
