With a combined student strength of about 3 Million students, the UP Intermediate Result i.e the Uttar Pradesh Board Class 12 Results, is the single largest class 12th result to be announced in India.

The UP Board will announce the UP Board 12th Result 2016 on 15th May, 2016. Last year, the UP Class 12th Results was announced around the same time on May 17.

The exam results will be officially declared by the UP board here. For the academic year, 2014-2015, the UP Board 12th exam result was announced on 17 May, 2015. A similar trend is expected for this academic year as well. Further, it was reported that about 30 lakh students appeared for Intermediate examination last year. The exams were conducted by the board from 18 February 2016 till on 21 March 2016 at 12.30 PM.

The UP 12th Board exam is annually conducted by the Board of High School and Intermediate Education, Uttar Pradesh. Around 30.71 lakh students have appeared for UP Board Inter exams 2016. Last year, the exams were conducted in over 10,341 test centres across the state and the UP Board Inter pass percentage 2015 was 83.83%. As per the reports, of the total boys who appeared for the exam, about 85.91% boys passed UP Board 12th exam 2015 and about 92.16% girls passed UP Board 12th exam. These numbers will hopefully improve after this year's exam results 2016.
