17 May, 2017: The State Bank of India has finally released the results for the prelims exam held for its 2313 Probationary Officer (PO) post. The online preliminary examination was held on April 29, 30 and May 6 and 7, 2017. The results are available on the official SBI website.

Candidates can check their results by entering their roll number and date of birth or registration number and date of birth. Candidates who clear the preliminary exam will be called for the main examination.

The SBI PO Main examination will have objective questions for 200 marks and descriptive questions for 50 marks. The objective test will be of three hours duration having four sections for total 200 marks. Candidates should qualify in each of the tests by securing passing marks. For each wrong answer one fourth of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted. There will be no penalty for questions left blank.

The descriptive exam will be of 30 minutes duration with 50 marks for English language test (letter writing and essay). Descriptive test will be evaluated for only those candidates who have scored qualifying marks in the objective test.

The online main exam will be held on June 4, 2017 and its results will be declared on June 19, 2017.The group exercises and interview will be held from July 10, 2017 onwards, and the results will be declared on August 5, 2017.
