NBSE HSSLC Class 12 Results 2018: declared today on 18 May, 2018


The Nagaland Board of Secondary Education (NBSE) has declared the results for NBSE HSSLC Class 12 Results 2018 today on 18 May, 2018. The NBSE Board HSSLC Class 12 exams were held from 08 March - 29 March, 2018. The students can check their results for NBSE HSSLC Class 12 Results 2018 here.

The overall pass percentage for NBSE HSSLC Class 12 Results 2018 is 75.30%. The NBSE HSSLC exams were conducted at 54 provisional centres across the state. A total of 15,281 students appeared for the exams this year out of which 11,339 were from Arts stream, 1,360 from the Commerce stream, and 2,582 from the Science stream.

In the Arts stream, out of the 11,339 who appeared; 6108 were girls and 5231 were boys. The total number of government school students who took the exams was 3,262 total number of private school students was 7,598, and total number of repeat students was 1,589. Out of the 11,339 who appeared for the exams a total of 8,325 students passed bringing the pass percentage for the Arts stream to 73.42%. This year the joint toppers in the Arts stream were Benrithung L Jungio and Cynthia Zeuzeule both of whom who scored 91.40%, followed by Vikedono Seyie who scored 90.60%, and then Mhasilenuo Mechülho and Visakhonuo Kulnu who scored 90.40%.

In the Commerce stream, out of the 1,360 who appeared; 486 were girls and 874 were boys. The total number of government school students who took the exams was 129, total number of private school students was 1078, and total number of repeat students was 191. Out of the 1,360 who appeared for the exams a total of 1,003 students passed bringing the pass percentage for the Arts stream to 73.75%. This year the topper in the Commerce stream is Marina Yashmin who scored 97.20%, followed by Dristi Roy, Reha Das, and Shourmista Roy all of whom who scored 94.40%, and then Supriya Dey who scored 93.60%.

In the Science stream, out of the 2,582 who appeared; 1280 were girls and 1419 were boys. The total number of government school students who took the exams was 484, total number of private school students was 1910, and total number of repeat students was 263. Out of the 2,582 who appeared for the exams a total of 2,179 students passed bringing the pass percentage for the Arts stream to 84.39%. This year the topper in the Science stream is Virienuo Emilia Solo who scored 91.60%, followed by Abhishek Anand who scored 91.00%, and then Kunal Gupta who scored 90.20%.

The NBSE board exams began after Holi. The NBSE HSSLC Class 12 exams began on 8th March, 2018 and ended on 29th March, 2018. The results for the academic year 2016-17 were declared on 08 May, 2017 for both Class 12 and Class 10.
