17.66 lakh Maharashtra students to sit for SSC exams 2017 starting today
07 March 2017: The Maharashtra SSC student strength has seen an increase of 2.23% this year as 17,66, 098 students have registered for the Maharashtra Secondary School Certificate (SSC) exams 2017 that begin today across the state and will end on 29 March, 2017. This is 38,602 higher than the Mah SSC student registrations last year, which was 17,27,496.
Out of these 17.66 lakh SSC exam students, 16,89,239 will be appearing for the Maharashtra class 10 exams for the first time, while 74,651 will be repeaters. There are 9,89,908 girls and 7,76,190 boys appearing for the SSC exams 2017 from 4,728 centres. There will also be 7,414 differently abled students (with learning disabilities/ hearing or speech impairment) appearing for this year's MSBSHE class 10th exams.
After the Marathi, Maths and Statistics papers of HSC exams got circulated on Whatsapp, minutes before the exams began, the Maharashtra board authorities have instructed all exam centres to keep a close watch on students who enter the exam hall late.
The Maharashtra Board SSC Results 2017 are expected to be announced by the first week of June, 2017 keeping in mind last year's Maharashtra SSC result date which was 6 June.
