Assam SEBA Class 10th Exams 2018 Start Today

Assam Exams 2018

16 February, 2018: The SEBA Class X exams for 2018 held in Assam have started today on 16th of February 2018 with English being the first paper. The exams will continue till the 8th of March 2018. The exams are being conducted in two shifts, from 9 am to 12 noon and 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm. The entire time table can be viewed in detail here.

The Board of Secondary Education, Assam or SEBA has 852 exam centres and 34 zones under its jurisdiction. Exams are to be conducted at these centres. According to a report from The Telegraph, a SEBA official has said that 344,190 students are appearing for the SEBA HSLC exam.

Due to disruptive instances during last year's examinations, there have been special arrangements made to ensure that law and order is upheld. This includes identification of sensitive centres, deputation of trained zonal supervising officers, supervising officers, and scrutinizers, and installation of CCTVs to keep a watch on the examination proceedings.

For all subjects, answer scripts will be taken to the SEBA headquarters and then sent across to the evaluation centres set up across the state.

The results for Assam SEBA class X boards are expected to be announced in May 2018. These results can be accessed on the official website, this website, or our android app.

Best of luck to all Assam SEBA class X candidates!
