Joint Entrance Examination (IIT JEE) is the entrance examination for bachelor courses in engineering in Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs). Indian Institute of Technologies are without doubt the most prestigious institutes for engineering education in India. Students start preparing for IIT JEE years before the actual examination. The IIT JEE Results are announced in May every year by the IITs and the IIT JEE Results 2012 will be announced on Friday, May 18, 2012. The JEE 2012 Result will be available on this website.
Only those candidates who attempted both Paper 1 and Paper 2 will be considered for the ranking. Marks in Physics in IIT-JEE 2012 will be equal to marks in Physics section of Paper 1 plus marks in Physics section of Paper 2. Similar procedure will be followed for Chemistry and Mathematics. The sum of the marks obtained in the individual subjects in IIT-JEE 2012 will be the aggregate marks for the candidate.
